Which teams will turn their season around?
Many teams have been a disappointment to their fan base. In most situations, there is still time to turn things around in the second half of the season, as many teams are close to one another in the standing, and playoff spots could still be attained. The Bengals, Bucs, Packers and Rams are prime candidates.

Eagles (7-0) at Texans (1-5-1)
Line: Eagles are favoured by 14
This is the softest part of the schedule for the Eagles; the worst-case scenario is that they will be looking past this game. Not a chance. Texans have nothing to lose, as they are expecting to lose. This game has the makings of a blow-out, so I’m not taking the 14 points.
Eagles win and cover.
Eagles lead the series 5-0-0
Bills (6-1) at Jets (5-3)
Line: Bills are favoured by 12.5
Although the Jets are improved, they couldn’t break a long 12-game losing streak against the Patriots, but they will provide a strong challenge to the Bills and may very well be in a situation where they could upset the Bills but won’t. The Jets will keep it close, so I’m taking the points.
Bills win but don’t cover.
Bills lead the series 67-56-0
Panthers (2-6) at Bengals (4-4)
Line: Bengals are favoured by 7.5
With the Panther’s team remaining somewhat intact, the Panthers have enough talent to make this an exciting game. The Bengals continued their disappointing losing streak against the Browns. The Bengals have just enough juice to squeeze a victory.
Bengals win but don’t cover.
Panthers lead the series 3-2-1
Colts (3-4-1) at Patriots (4-4)
Line: Patriots favoured by 5.5
Patriots are slowly and quietly getting stronger. On the Colt’s side, firing an Offensive coordinator who doesn’t call plays, as they are looking for scapegoats to account for this terrible season. I don’t know which direction Colt’s ownership is going, but maybe it’s time to clean house.
Patriots win and cover.
Patriots lead the series 52-30-0
Chargers (4-3) at Falcons (4-4)
Line: Chargers favoured by 3.5
So far, the Chargers have been a disappointment. The Falcons are in first place in their division. Many teams, including the Falcons, have figured out how to play the Chargers. I’m taking the points and the Falcons.
Falcons win and cover.
Falcons lead the series 8–3-0.
Raiders (2-5) at Jaguars (3-6)
Line: Raiders are favoured by 1
The Raiders just got shut out, and they are that horrible. According to Coach McDaniels, the team isn’t good enough, and I’m afraid he’s right. Jaguars couldn’t win a game in their second home at Wembley Stadium, but they will beat the underperforming Raider team.
Jaguars win and cover.
Jaguars lead the series 5-4-0
Vikings (6-1) at Commanders (4-4)
Line: Vikings favoured by 3.5
After winning three close games in a row, the Commanders have gained a lot of confidence and will give the Vikings all they can handle, but it won’t be enough. I’m taking the Vikings and the points.
Vikings win but don’t cover.
Vikings lead the series 14-13-0
Seahawks (5-3) at Cardinals (3-5)
Line: Cardinals are favoured by 2
Is it time to stick a fork into the Cardinals; are they done? The Seahawks are playing good defence and found a running game along with the MVP play of Gino Smith. I don’t see how the Cardinals are favoured by two. I’m taking the points and the Seahawks.
Seahawks win.
Seahawks lead the series 24-22-1
Rams(3-4) at Buccaneers (3-5)
Line: Bucs are favoured by 3
Both teams are underperforming, but one will come out of this game with a victory. The Bucs haven’t been very good at any facet of the game lately. The Rams are having issues, and very little is going right for them. I have more faith in the Rams than the Bucs at this point in the season. I’ll take the points and the Rams.
Rams win.
Rams lead the series 19-9-0
Titans(5-2) at Chiefs (5-2)
Line: Chiefs favoured by 12.5
Titans are not expected to win this game; sometimes, those are games they win. Chiefs trade for some firepower in the often-injured Kaderius Toney; we will see if his healthy enough to play. The last time these two teams met, the Titans beat the Chiefs 27-3. I’m sure the Chiefs aren’t going to forget that one. I’m taking the Chiefs and the points.
Chiefs win but don’t cover.
Chiefs lead the series 30-25-0
Ravens (5-3) at Saints (3-5)
Line: Ravens are favoured by 3
The Ravens get Roquan Smith, and maybe he’s the missing piece. Saints QB Andy Dalton crafted a nice victory against the Raiders, with the defence throwing a shutout. Ravens will win this prime-time game at the Big Easy.
Ravens win and cover.
Ravens lead the series 5-2-0
