AEW Dynamite Preview: Fyter Fest Night 1!

AEW’s Fyter Fest is always a couple of fun shows, and judging by the card we have for night one, I expect another great set of shows. Night one is highlighted by a triple threat match for the AEW tag titles, former partners in WWE face off in a singles match, and much more.

The Young Bucks (C) vs Swerve in our Glory vs Ricky Starks & Powerhouse Hobbs – AEW Tag Title Match

This should be a very fun match. AEW have shown over their three year history that they are really good at putting together triple threat matches, and I think this should be another great one. Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks have shown they have great chemistry with Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee, and now add the Young Bucks to the mix, it’s a recipe for a great match.

I think the winner here is the Young Bucks because I believe that AEW are ducking Young Bucks vs FTR until we get to All Out. That’ll be where FTR can grab all the gold.

Claudio Castagnoli vs Jake Hager

This is a fun call back match to Cesaro and Jack Swagger in WWE. Both guys have changed their personas drastically since then, but  should still be a very good match

Claudio Castagnoli has been red hot since his AEW debut, because he came in at such a good spot. He replaced an injured Bryan Danielson at Forbidden Door and beat Zach Sabre Jr. And then picked up the win in the Blood and Guts match. I think Castagnoli has all the momentum in this match and expect him to pick up the win over Jake Hager.

There are two other segments announced for this card as of writing this. Anna Jay will be taking on Serena Deeb in singles action, and we’ll again hear from Christian Cage and Luchasaurus.

All this and so much more can be seen on TBS (TSN in Canada) every Wednesday night at 8PM EST.
