Picks Superbowl

Pop’s Picks: Super Bowl LVI

The Bengals and their Coach Zac Taylor have come a long way as his first two years were unimpressive 6-25-1 record. He began the year as a coach on the hot seat. The Bengals were patient with him, and it paid off. Rams Coach Sean McVay has had a lot of success with the Rams, and in 2019 he was the youngest head coach to get to the Super Bowl. The Rams lost that one to the Patriots 13-3.

Pop’s Playoff record:  Record Straight-up 6-6, and against the spread 5-7.

Rams (12-5) at Bengals (10-7)
Line: Rams are favoured by 4.5.

Who would you rather have, as quarterback Joe Burrow or Matthew Stafford? We know Matthew Stafford from the Lions and one year from the Rams. With Lions, he elevated the team to give them some victories at times, and at other times he didn’t. Was this situation where you have a great QB playing for a lousy team. Is it the case of a good QB surrounded by a great team with the Rams? Perhaps we will find out more on Sunday. The confident young upstart Joe Burrow has a winning written all over him; he has truly elevated his team to the Super Bowl. The Rams have more talent with a very disruptive defence led by Aaron Donald. The Bengals will focus on covering Cooper Kupp, which would leave Odell Beckham Jr. one on one with Eli Apple. The Rams should win. But somehow, Joe Burrow will lead the Bengals to their first Super Bowl victory.

Bengals win and cover.
Bengals lead series 8-6-0
