WEEK 19 Divisional Playoff Round

Rams at Packers (-6.5 )
Saturday at 4:35 PM

For the second week in a row, I’m calling for an upset victory by the Rams. The Packers have had a dominating season with Aaron Rogers’s performance at an MVP level. I think that the Rams have the talent on defense to handle the Packers. Injured or not, the other Aaron (Donald) is going mess up the Packers offense.

Pick: Rams win and cover.
Rams lead series 47-46-2
Ravens at Bills (-2.5)
Saturday at 8:15 PM
Ravens have closed the season strong and finally beat the Titans in a Wild Card game. They haven’t played a team like the Bills. The Bills have a balanced offence, with a mobile quarterback, good running game and excellent passing attack with consistent and frequently open receivers.

Pick: Bills win and cover.
Ravens lead series 6-3
Browns at Chiefs(-10.5)
Saturday at 3:05 PM
Browns are proving to be gritty a team as they dominated the Steelers in the first half of the Wild Card game. They will give the Chiefs a good game. The well-rested Chiefs usually do enough to win, and this game will be no exception.

Pick: Chiefs win but don’t cover.
Chiefs lead series 13-11-2.
Bucs at Saints(-2.5)
Sunday at 6:00 PM

If the over-under number were the total of the starting quarterback ages, it would be 85. The Bucs beat the WFT in the Wild Card game. The Bucs looked a little sluggish on defence allowing practice squad Quarterback Taylor Heinicke time and space in the pocket to make the game closer than it should have been. The Saints are a dynamic team with many offensive weapons and play good defence. Sorry, Tom, you’re not going to the Super Bowl this year.

Pick: Saints win and cover.
Saints lead series 37-21.

Giant Footnotes
I’m positive that the Giants watched the WFT lose to the Bucs and thought of how near they came to beating the Bucs earlier this year. I’m sure they thought they could have won this Wild Card game against the Bucs. It wasn’t to be. I’m looking forward to better outcomes for the Giants next year. Have a great Divisional Round Weekend!
