Pop’s Picks Week 14: Upset Special

What a week! While I am still savouring the Giants’ victory against the Seahawks, the WFT is also celebrating their upset-victory. Although the Cardinals will be an enormous challenge for the Giants, I selected them to continue their winning streak and beat the Cardinals. The Redskins will be facing a tough challenge against the Niners. They looked great in defeating the Rams but looked awful against the Bills. Which Niners team will suit against the WFT?

There aren’t too many NFL football weekends left in the 2020 season. Enjoy the action starting tonight!

@Rams6.5PatriotsPatriots beat a badly coached team. Rams aren’t that and will win but won’t cover.
Patriots lead series 9-5.

2.5@Bears
The hapless Bears aren’t organized to beat anyone and aren’t playing to beat anyone. Texans will send the Bears back into hibernation.
Texans lead series 4-0.

Cowboys
3.5@Bengals

This is a game that the struggling Cowboys should be able to win. The Bengals aren’t really much without Joe Burrow.  Andy Dalton beats the Bengals in Cincinnati!
Cowboys lead series 8-4.

Chiefs
7.5@Dolphins
Chiefs have been winning in very lacklustre ways lately. Time to turn things around against a good team. Chiefs will and cover.
Dolphins lead series 16-14.

2.5@Giants

The Giants played great defensive football and pulled off a major upset. I think the Giants’ effort will be there again and they win again.
Giants lead series 80-45-2

6.5Vikings

The Vikings have been hot lately and doing just enough to win. The Bucs are on a two-game losing streak losing both games 27-24. The Bucs will start winning by beat the Vikings and covering.
Vikings lead series 33-22.

Jeremy Chinn recovering two fumbles and scoring two touchdowns in 8 seconds wasn’t enough as the Panthers lost to the Vikings.  The Broncos have had some impressive wins against the Dolphins and Patriots along with many losses.  The Panthers will win but won’t cover.
Broncos lead series 5-1

Titans7.5@JaguarsHard to trust the Titans. They really didn’t have a competitive game against the Browns, on the other hand, the Jaguars have been losing close games. Jaguars will lose another close one.
Titans lead series 31-21

2.5@Raiders
The Raiders got a gift from the Jets. The Colts are a solid team and won’t be gifting games to anyone. Colts will win and cover.
Raiders lead series 10-8

The Jets will continue to win their imperfect no win season by losing another game. The firing of the Defensive Co-ordinator Williams will give the Jets a bump and they will cover.
Seahawks lead series 11-8.

7.5@Lions

The  Lions won with Interim Coach Darrel Bevell is 1-0. Great start! Bevell’s career record as an NFL head Coach will be 1-1 on Sunday, as Packers win and cover.

Packers lead series 103-72-10

Eagles will start Jalen Hurts, it won’t change the their losing ways. Saints win a close one in an outdoor environment.

Eagles lead series 17-15.

2.5@Chargers

I can’t see the Lynn coached Chargers win too many more games before his ultimate demise. Falcons won’t be giving this game away.
Chargers lead series 8-2.

Steelers1.5@BillsThe Steelers didn’t look like a very good football team against the WFT. They took a 14-0 lead and then lulled themselves to sleep and allowed the WFT to beat quite soundly in the second half of the game. The Steelers seemed to lack energy and focus. The Bills will have plenty of energy and focus. Bills win and cover.
Steelers lead series 16-10.

BillsBills
Ravens1@BrownsBoth teams have been successfully running the ball. The Browns are doing a better job of passing the ball. the Browns also have a better record. The Browns have won their last four games. All this won’t matter, because the Ravens are going to win this game. Ravens Series tied 32-11
RavensRavens
@Niners4.5WFTThe WFT will play a solid game and lose. I think that the Niners will have a good plan against a QB as limited as Steve Smith.
Niners Series tied 21-11-1
