Imagine you work your entire life to do the thing that you love. Imagine being the guy from your hometown that made it to the NFL. Now Imagine living an honest life and making a mistake at your job… Happens right? I f*** up all the time. I make mistakes. I probably made several in this sentence but I never thought that I would get death threats. That’s what happened to Marquez Valdes-Scantling this weekend. After fumbling the ball in OT vs the Colts the Packers lost their game.
MVS says he wasn’t threatened or scared for his life but it’s a bit ridiculous that this is even a topic. The man dropped a ball… in the regular season…. of a football GAME!! Criticize your players, get upset at your fantasy team fine and even break your TV. Nobody cares except for you anyway. But like we saw earlier this year with Chris Carson responding to fans ripping him because he was injured, fans have no shame. They don’t give a shit about your feelings. They don’t care about your bets, or your fantasy team.
If your life is so awful that you need to threaten a guy who dropped a ball, then maybe tell your wife to give your unathletic dumb ass a handjob and calm down.
