I thought bye weeks were supposed to be quiet, with the coaches working behind the scenes to bring some improvements towards the rest of the season. I guess the Giants are taking making the playoffs seriously. Newly hired offensive line coach Dave Deguglielmo is an excellent choice, and I’m sure we will see an improvement against the Bengals.
Last week was a remarkable week for the Giants, they finally beat the Eagles and hopeful the breaking of this Philly Curse will allow them to focus on beating other teams. So far, they are 2-0 in the second half of the schedule.
How long will it take the Bills to get over a horrendous loss to the Cardinals? Hard to believe Jaguars came close to beating the Packers. Just when it looked like the Patriots were going in the wrong direction they beat the Super Bowl contenting Ravens. Rams show that they need to be accounted for. The Lions finally won a game that they should win.
Another great football weekend starts with tonight’s game… Enjoy!
|W1||W 2||W 3||W4||W5||W6||W7||W8||Total|
|@Seahawks||3||Cardinals||Cards pulled off a miracle last week against the Bills. The Seahawks are losing games. No change on Thursday night. Cards win again.|
Seahawks leads 21-20-1
|@Browns||3.5||Eagles||This is a game that the Browns should win. The Eagles will accommodate and the Browns will win a close game.|
Browns lead 31-17-1
|@Saints||4.5||Falcons||Regardless of who replaces Drew Brees, I’m smelling an upset here. As the Falcons are better than their record shows, they will swoop into the Big Easy and win.|
Falcons lead 52-49
|@WFT||1.5||Bengals||The WFT put a fight against the Lions. QB Joe Burrow is better than the Lions and will lead the Bengals to a win.|
Bengals lead 5-4-1
|@Panthers||2.5||Lions||The Panthers continue to compete every week. This is a winnable game for both teams. I expect the Lions to disappoint. Panthers win!|
Panthers lead 6-3
|Steelers||10||@Jaguars||The Jaguars played the Packers close and could have won. They will do the same against the Steelers and lose.|
Jaguars lead 14-12
|@Ravens||6.5||Titans||Lately, I can’t trust the Titans to win a game. The Ravens will remember last year’s playoffs and will come out strong to settle the score with a victory.|
|Patriots||2.5||@Texans||The Patriots played an excellent game against the Ravens; the victory reaffirmed Patriots’ winning culture. The Patriots continue to win and the Texans continue going in the opposite direction.|
Panthers lead 6-3
|Dolphins||3||@Broncos||The Dolphins will win again and the Broncos will continue to struggle.|
Dolphins lead 12-6-1
|@Chargers||8||Jets||Jets will continue being the Jets and lose more games. Justin Hebert will shine. Jet fans will wonder why he is not wearing a Jets’ uniform.|
Chargers lead 22-14-1
|@Colts||2.5||Packers||The Packers were lucky to beat the Jaguars. The Colts will be tougher to beat. Philip Rivers’s limitations will lead the Colts to a loss. Packers will win.|
Colts lead 22-20-1
|@Vikings||7.5||Cowboys||The Vikings running game will be difficult for the Cowboys to stop. Cowboys starting rookie QB Garrett Gilbert will be going against a scheming and experienced defence. Vikings win this one and even their series record.|
Cowboys lead 16-15
|Chiefs||7||@Raiders||Ancient blood rivalry! It will be close. The Chiefs leave Vegas with a win in their pockets.|
Chiefs lead 67-54-2
|@Bucs||3.5||Rams||I like the way the Rams are playing. Whose faster Aaron Donald or Tom Brady? Rams defence will help turn this game into a win.|
Rams lead 16-9
