Pop’s Picks Week 11: Punch Drunk Giants!

I thought bye weeks were supposed to be quiet, with the coaches working behind the scenes to bring some improvements towards the rest of the season. I guess the Giants are taking making the playoffs seriously. Newly hired offensive line coach Dave Deguglielmo is an excellent choice, and I’m sure we will see an improvement against the Bengals.

Last week was a remarkable week for the Giants, they finally beat the Eagles and hopeful the breaking of this Philly Curse will allow them to focus on beating other teams. So far, they are 2-0 in the second half of the schedule.

How long will it take the Bills to get over a horrendous loss to the Cardinals? Hard to believe Jaguars came close to beating the Packers. Just when it looked like the Patriots were going in the wrong direction they beat the Super Bowl contenting Ravens. Rams show that they need to be accounted for. The Lions finally won a game that they should win.

Another great football weekend starts with tonight’s game… Enjoy!

Regardless of who replaces Drew Brees, I’m smelling an upset here. As the Falcons are better than their record shows, they will swoop into the Big Easy and win.

@Ravens6.5TitansLately, I can’t trust the Titans to win a game. The Ravens will remember last year’s playoffs and will come out strong to settle the score with a victory.

The Packers were lucky to beat the Jaguars. The Colts will be tougher to beat. Philip Rivers’s limitations will lead the Colts to a loss. Packers will win.

@Vikings7.5CowboysThe Vikings running game will be difficult for the Cowboys to stop. Cowboys starting rookie QB Garrett Gilbert will be going against a scheming and experienced defence. Vikings win this one and even their series record.
