The Lakers are in the driver’s seat after winning game 4 and taking a commanding 3-1 series lead. What was impressive about that win for the Lakers, was that they won in ugly fashion. They showed the NBA they don’t need a dominate performance in order to win big games. That was a type of game the Heat usually win. Low scoring, with good team defense, and getting clutch baskets when it counts. LeBron and AD both had solid nights, but it was the “other guys” who made the difference in the game for LA. Most notably, Caldwell-Pope. He started off the night on fire and finished the game 6 of 12 from the field. For Miami, Butler put up fairly good numbers but didn’t have a great game. To be honest, the Heat seemed to be a little hesitant in game 4. I thought coach Spo should have taken Nunn out much earlier in the game. I love Nunn, but he seems to be lost on the court. If he could just get Miami 14 or 15 points tonight that would be huge.

No excuses for the Heat, but they really could have used Dragić on Tuesday night. Like I said in previous articles, when the offense is struggling he’s usually the one to keep Miami in games. He shoots the 3 ball well, but it’s his ability to attack the rim and finish or get to the free throw line that makes him so dynamic. Miami’s X-Factor is Jae Crowder. I think he’ll have a solid game tonight. He seems to be getting pretty good looks but hasn’t been able to capitalize this series. Bam started off last game well, but wasn’t much of a factor in the second half. Look for him to be more aggressive tonight.

The Lakers don’t wanna give Miami any life, and will look to end the series tonight. To come back from a 3-1 deficit is hard, but we’ve already seen it more than once in the bubble. I expect this to be a close game just like the last one. The Heat are down but not out. I’m gonna do my best Charles Barkley impersonation here…. I GUAAARANTEE … YES GUAAARANTEE…. a Miami Heat victory tonight!
