AFC South Draft Grades: Jacob Eason get’s his shot and the Titans snooze

The roadtrip continues! Today we’re having a look at a division that many consider to be the most boring. I personally love the AFC South! Who wouldn’t love: Incompetent coaching, Thursday night snoozers and team with hot tubs in the stands. Anyways, here’s our grades! Stay tuned, tomorrow we will cover the dirty south (AKA: NFC South)

Indianapolis Colts

They picked up weapons for Philip Rivers in Michael Pittman Jr and Jonathan Taylor. However, was the trade for DeForest Buckner worth it considering Javon Kinlaw was available at 13? They might have picked up their long term QB in Jacob Eason, he will compete with Jacoby Brissett as back up to Philip Rivers.

Draft grade B+

Houston Texans

The addition of DT Ross Blacklock and LB Jonathan Greenard addressed both needs on defense. They didn’t have a first round pick as they traded it for Laremy Tunsil and whom they extended recently. Was he really worth a first round pick? Time will tell but they definitely needed to give Deshaun Watson some blind side protection.

Draft grade B

Jacksonville Jaguars

A perfect draft for them, not only did they fill their needs but they injected some very talented youth players in CJ Henderson, K’Lavon Chaisson, Laviska Shenault and DaVon Hamilton.

Draft grade A

Tennessee Titans

Nothing too special for the Titans, they went with OT Isaiah Wilson in the first round but they did add some great day 2 prospects in CB Kristian Fulton and added a speedy RB Darrynton Evans.

Draft grade B
