I think there are at least 3 franchise Quarterbacks in this years draft and they are; Justin Hebert, Jordon Love, and Tua Tagovailoa. The most questionable of the three is Tua on account of his injury history. As a pro I hope he can find a way of protecting himself. I think that the best quarterback by far is Justin Hebert. If he was available last year the Giants would have drafted him ahead of Daniel Jones. They are in a position to draft him this year. I don’t think that they would do that unless Jones had a strong suitor and they believe that Justin Hebert is a vast improvement over Daniel Jones. That would really go against the grain of the Giants organizational culture. Beside Jones has shown himself to be an excellent quarterback with a fumbling problem. That will have to be fixed next year. I hope they make the right decision. I think more teams want Justin Hebert than Tua Tagovailoa but these teams are being strategic, they are hoping that Hebert falls to them, and they don’t want to pay. In my mock draft I have the Jaguars making the bold move to Justin Hebert with the Lions. I think this move would spook the Dolphins into moving up for Tua Tagovailoa. The Chargers I think want Justin Hebert but may end up with Jordon Love. Not a bad choice. Time will tell as to how it turns out for these teams.
So here is my Mock Draft with all the Giant picks… the group I selected for the Giants is attainable. Warning, they are not all choir boys. The General Manager and the Coaching Staff also have to earn their pay and have to manage the players and get them to buy in and behave.
